Barbara Walker McCabe
Barbara Walker McCabe is a Fine Art Photographer living and working in the picturesque town of Truckee, CA. Barbara's work focuses on self-portraiture in natural landscapes with emphasis on Alternative Processes, Large format and film, and Landscape Photography. Her unique Kallitype contact prints are distinctive and one of a kind. Barbara is proud to have been a finalist in the Academy of Art's 2020 & 2019 Spring Show and currently has work displayed at Tahoe Forest Hospital in Truckee, CA. She is the owner of McCabe Earthscape Photography. Barbara is a graduate student studying Fine Art Photography at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and will obtain her MFA in the fall of 2021. When not making images Barbara can be found roaming the wilds of Tahoe with her husband and St. Bernard.

Barbara is proud to have been a finalist in the Academy of Art's 2022, 2020 & 2019 Spring Shows and was distinguished with the Director's Choice Award as well as winning third place for her Kallitype Portfolio in 2022. She currently has work displayed in the Main Street Artists Gallery in Quincy, CA, at Tahoe Forest Hospital in Truckee, CA as well as local businesses in Graeagle, CA. She is the owner of McCabe Earthscape Photography. When not making images Barbara can be found roaming the wilds of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountains with her husband, Greg and St. Bernard, Cooper.
